User Experience Designer (all genders)

Your mission
As a Senior User Experience Designer in one of our main offices (Hamburg or Barcelona), you will take responsibility for improving the UX of our web shop products by taking all stakeholders' views into account. Working closely with other UX designers and product owners you will proactively advocate in Lean UX mindset and establish UX processes to ensure efficient collaboration of disciplines. Your interaction concepts that reflect the users' needs are characterized by simplicity and add great product value. YOUR MISSION
  • Collaborate with the product management team to develop user-friendly interaction concepts for our web shop products.
  • Act as a point of contact for various stakeholders, providing oversight of the user experience across all products.
  • Conduct user research and gather internal feedback, create user journeys, workflows, and interaction concepts. 
  • Work closely with product owners, UI designers, UX writers, and developers to implement interaction concepts effectively.
Your profile
  • University degree or training in user experience, computer science, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience with prototyping software like Figma or Sketch. 
  • Extensive knowledge of usability engineering and user experience principles.
  • Experimental mindset! Having practical experience in developing interaction concepts, conducting user research, usability testing, and evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and tools.
  • Proven track record as a problem solver, consistently delivering effective solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse departments, fostering seamless cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

 Nice to have
  • Experience in e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML and CSS (programming knowledge not necessary).
  • Fluent in written and spoken German.
